White Sight is the logo of a barred eye used as a warning on instagram, applied over images or video clips catalogued as sensitive content that appear blurred before the viewer decides to look at them. The artist has transformed it into a neon sign, mimicking the advertising aesthetics that it hijacks. It warns us that we might not see as well as we think, when it comes to our social and political reality, or even the artworks in the exhibition, that the privilege that we have to protect ourselves from sensitive contents might be the source of our blindness and that safe spaces might also make us unable to live in and fight against an unsafe world.
