As the climate crisis is getting worse and biodiversity is collapsing, more than 10,000m² of community garden are threatened by the construction of a solarium for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, a Grand Paris Express train station and an office and hotel district.Bulldozers from Spie Batignolles are preparing to destroy one of the finest examples of community garden still existing in the Ile-de-France region. These Community Garden, now known as Garden to Defend (GAD), are located less than two kilometers from Paris, in Aubervilliers, Seine-Saint-Denis (93). GAD Aubervilliers was evicted on September 2. In the space of a few hours, the shacks with their long working-class history, the old trees and the land of the gardens were destroyed by bulldozers
