Continuing her "Dévoré" series, Ingrid Luche links research or work contexts through the use of an imprint (of a wall, of an object) to which she gives the form of a mask or wall relief. Moonstep is the molding of a sole print, the graphic relief of which resembles that of the soles of cosmonauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, the ones they left traces of on the Moon during the Appolo XI mission in 1969.During a workshop at CIAV in Meisenthal, the artist used this process to put into abyss the plastic territory she explores. An artefact derived from an element of space archaeology merges with its imprint: shoe fetish or artist's imprint, we can enjoy the idea of leaving traces... or desperately trying to make some.
